One fish, two fish

2 October, 2008 at 3:31 pm (FO, knitting)

I know I said no knitting content, but I’ve been waiting on spindle supplies to come in so I haven’t been able to get much work done.

These were a fairly straightforward knit; I’d done the pattern before so I only needed to refer to it occasionally to make sure I was doing it correctly. The two changes I made were to use a twisted tubular cast on (as seen above) and to use two repeats of chart A on the leg, rather than three, because otherwise they would hit me just at the spot where my calves get bigger, and that is a recipe for slidey socks. They’re perfect at this length.

Still one of my favourite sock patterns.

Pattern: Pomatomus by Cookie A.
Yarn: ShibuiKnits Sock in Wasabi, two skeins (with 24g left over)
Needles: US2.5/3mm 24″ Addi Turbos, magic looped
